Soft light, love, & a castle on a hill

I had the pleasure of attending this beautiful shoot, organised by my friend Dannie, of Blotted Ink Photography in April. Set at the imposing yet romantic Haldon Belveder, the shoot focussed on calm, gentle moments and the pre-raphaelite inspiration running throughout. Speaking to Dannie before the shoot, she explained how she wanted the photos to look like an oil painting, which rich colours and playful light. We decided afterwards that while her photos achieved that, mine are more like watercolour paintings - we regularly work together as we have very different styles, and it's lovely to see another take on the same scene.
