Scott and Charlie’s wedding day was full of love and so many personal touches that made it truly special. Their ceremony took place at the charming St Andrew’s Church in Kenn, a place that holds huge significance for Scott’s family. Many of his relatives have celebrated their marriages there, and the church has been woven into important parts of their lives together. It felt incredibly meaningful for Scott and Charlie to continue that tradition – and even more so, as the pub just next door was where they first met, exactly ten years to the day of their wedding!
The church looked beautiful, with bridesmaids dressed in gorgeous dusty pink gowns that perfectly suited the season. The floral arrangements were equally stunning – dried bouquets full of autumn charm, which paired so well with the warmth of the day.

After the ceremony, the celebrations continued at the breathtaking Winslade Manor in Exeter. The venue is a photographer’s dream – with its sweeping lawns and striking atrium, it provided the perfect backdrop for both relaxed and intimate portraits. One of the highlights for me was capturing Scott and Charlie in the soft golden evening light that graced the gardens. Those glowing moments were simply magical.

It was lovely to see how much their daughter was included in the day too. She featured often in their portraits, creating family memories that will last for years to come.
As evening fell, the atmosphere shifted to celebration with D&M’s Disco, who kept everyone entertained on the dance floor. One of the unexpected highlights was their surprise game of Mr & Mrs with Scott and Charlie – a fun twist that delighted both the couple and their guests.
It was a real privilege to be part of Scott and Charlie’s day and to capture all the meaningful moments that made it unique to them. Their wedding was a true reflection of who they are as a couple – rooted in tradition, filled with love, and full of joy.
